Janine and I accompanied by bf and Janine's driver went to LTO yesterday to apply for a non-pro driver's license. Our original plan is to go to the San Juan LTO. We met at Mcdonald's Quezon Ave at around 6:30am since there are many people in LTO. According to this site, the LTO is at the back of sea oil gas station. Apparently, when we arrived there is no LTO at the back of Sea Oil. So we asked the sea oil personnel where the LTO is. he said that its just next to them, so we drove to the next gas station which is flying V and there is no LTO! we asked another guard in a village nearby and he said that it's inside the Flying V gas station.. gosh!! the LTO there is very small, now I can imagine why there's not much people going there because it cannot be seen! when we arrived at the san juan LTO, the guy said that there's no office that day.. It's holiday in san juan. whatever!!
Next stop, La Loma LTO... this is where I was able to acquire my student's license. We has our drug test and paid 300 hoping that we would be finished early. Sad to say again, the La Loma LTO is not issuing new license its just for renewal and student's license only. :( So what's next?
Third Stop, Tayuman Licensing Center. We arrived at around 9am i guess, parking is very hard there. We paid another 100 pesos for the medical in order to get our application running. We waited for 10 minutes i guess and the man asked us to go inside and submit our requirements to window 14 for processing. Step 3.. Photo and Signature.. next, Payment of 168 pesos for the written exam. We waited for an hour i guess or 2 before the person called us upstairs to take out written exam. We didn't acquire any reviewer like everybody else.. I just try to understand the signs posted on the walls if the LTO office. Oh! their written exam is automated by the way.. :) so exam time!! every question there is common sense, there's also some signs. When we finished the exam, we waited for another 30 minutes for the checking of our papers.. and good thing we passed! next!! practical exam.. the examiner asked us what we drive? and we both said we only know how to drive and automatic vehicle. So she asked us if we have a car? we said yes and then... another exam! practical exam.... We both passed again and the time? 11:55PM. We didn't go to lunch yet because maybe we would be called for the payment of the license which is 378, and they did! after paying we headed to lunch!
So after eating, we head back to the LTO office at around 12:45 in my watch and 1PM in theirs.. waited for the seminar to end at around 1:30 PM and another 30 minutes for our printed license. So at around 2PM.. I got my non-pro license!!!

Friendship
What is Friendship?
That's according to wikipedia...
But what is friendship for me?
I have many friends, there are some whom i met from elementary, high school, college and work. Some from cyberspace. But what makes a "friend" a real one for me? a real friend for me is someone who never frequently texts me and asking me for favors on assignments and other stuff related to school. So after school, poof! communication gone since i'm of no use to them anymore. I don't want to be remembered only when they wanted to bond and wanted the count of the "barkada" complete not because they wanted my presence there. And when I'm there it seems like I'm not... All of us should adjust to each others traits, attitude or mannerism. Not just me alone to adjust to them. It should not be about the places you will go or the money you earn from work or about how successfull you are to be the basis of being liked.
All of these things happened to me when I'm in elemenraty, high school and college. The only thing that made a difference in my life is when I'm working. I met many people from different schools and provinces. I am able to mingle with them all and have nothing hidden from them. When I see them I am happy... I naver have to pretend to be happy around them because I am really happy being with them and wanted the day to not end being with them. I can say everything and they listen, they give inputs on what I need to do and comfort me without being sarcastic. I can cry, shout, laugh.. etc with them around and they're still there. When they see something wrong, they tell you immediately not pass from this person to this then to you. They love you for being u and wanted you to remain the same forever.
"An interpersonal relationship is a relatively long-term association between two or more people. This association may be based on emotions like love and liking, regular business interactions, or some other type of social commitment. Interpersonal relationships take place in a great variety of contexts, such as family, friends, marriage, acquaintances, work, clubs, neighborhoods, and churches. They may be regulated by law, custom, or mutual agreement, and are the basis of social groups and society as a whole. Although humans are fundamentally social creatures, interpersonal relationships are not always healthy. Examples of unhealthy relationships include abusive relationships and codependence."
That's according to wikipedia...
But what is friendship for me?
"It's the bond that 2 or more people have that lack of communication or not being with each other can't hinder their closeness. It should also be among people who have something in common. There should be no rules to be set among them."

Busy? Yes!!
Oh well, the titles summarizes everything that I'll be posting. Yes yes, its been a while since I've been busy with everything.
1. Work
Modification of new form for a client, changed a couple of codes, fields and work flow to cater to their needs. After transferring it to production last Monday.. viola! calls from this department have been flooding. Reason? there's a bug that I missed out while testing in the development server! (stupid me!!), so anyways I was able to fix the bug with the help of my tl. Today, different email from the same department came containing a new request. So here I am busy bee with the modifications.
Note: there's another request coming tomorrow (OT mode again) :)
2. Extra Curricular Activities
Hmn... I've been taking driving lessons, my session is every week starting february 22. It's every sunday from 10-11. Driving is fun, except for those motorcycles and buses you need to avoid.
3. Extra Income
I'm doing another website for this IT firm, the layout is finished and is now approved by the boss. I will be coding it this weekend. Oh! this is my second sideline... :) My first website is www.mufflerland.com.ph
